Community Guidelines
Last updated: October 8, 2026
These guidelines say what games, store pages, and profiles on Arcadible can contain. They apply to everything published on Arcadible, and to everyone who uses it, along with the Terms of Service.
Arcadible publishes games of every kind, including games for mature audiences. The line these guidelines draw isn't about taste. It's about harm to players and to other people.
Labels must be accurate
Games can contain intense content, as long as their store pages say so:
- Audience: a game with intense violence, blood and gore, sexual content, or strong language must be marked Mature. Rate the most intense content a player can reach. See Choosing an audience.
- Generative AI: a game with content made with generative AI must be marked Generative. See Disclosing AI.
- Store pages must describe the game honestly: its title, art, screenshots, description, genres, and controls.
What isn't allowed
These categories match the ones you'll use to report a game or a player.
Sexual content
- Not allowed: sexually explicit content, meaning depictions of sexual acts or nudity intended to arouse, in games, store pages, or profiles.
- Allowed in Mature games: sexual themes, suggestive content, and non-explicit nudity, labeled Mature, and never on the store page's art.
Violent or repulsive content
- Not allowed: real footage or images of violence, death, or serious injury; content that glorifies real-world mass violence or its perpetrators; shocking content with no purpose in the game.
- Allowed in Mature games: fictional violence, blood, and gore.
Hateful or abusive content
Not allowed: content that attacks, demeans, or promotes discrimination or violence against people for their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or serious illness. A game can depict hateful characters or history in fiction or for context, without promoting their views.
Harassment or bullying
Not allowed: content that targets a real person to harass, threaten, or shame them, including sharing their private information, such as their address or contact details, without consent.
Harmful or dangerous acts
Not allowed:
- content that encourages real-world acts likely to cause serious injury
- instructions for making weapons, explosives, or dangerous drugs
- promoting the sale of drugs, weapons, tobacco, or alcohol
- real-money gambling: games where players stake money or anything of real-world value
Suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders
Not allowed: content that promotes, encourages, or instructs suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders. Games can deal with these subjects thoughtfully, labeled Mature where the content is intense.
Child abuse
Not allowed, with no exceptions: any content that sexualizes minors, and any content that depicts, promotes, or facilitates the abuse or exploitation of children. We remove it, close the accounts involved, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and to law enforcement.
Promoting terrorism
Not allowed: content that promotes, glorifies, recruits for, or supports terrorist or violent extremist organizations or their acts.
Spam or misleading
Not allowed:
- Malware and deception: games that harm devices, mine cryptocurrency, collect passwords or payment details, or trick players into actions they didn't intend.
- Impersonation: pretending to be another developer, game, brand, or Arcadible, including look-alike names, art, and store pages.
- Misleading store pages: art, screenshots, or descriptions of something other than the game, or of a game that doesn't work.
- Manipulation: inflating plays or likes, or gaming the store's charts or search.
- Spam: publishing many near-identical games, or games that exist only to advertise or link elsewhere.
Legal issues
Not allowed: anything illegal where it's published or played, including content that infringes copyrights or trademarks, or that breaks privacy law. To report a copyright infringement, see the Copyright Policy.
Games that collect data
A game that collects personal data from players, on its developer's own servers, must say what it collects and why, in a privacy policy linked from the game or its store page, and follow the law that applies, including the law on children's data. See the Developer Terms.
Profiles
Profiles follow the same rules: your title, handle, tagline, bio, and homepage can't contain anything these guidelines don't allow, and can't impersonate anyone else.
Handles
A handle, the name in a game's or a profile's links, is first come, first served, and it's for use. Arcadible may reclaim a handle, or give it to someone else, when it's held by a game that's never been released, when it impersonates a person, developer, game, or brand, or when it infringes a name or trademark. A released game's handle, and the handle of a developer with a released game, are reclaimed only for impersonation or a name or trademark.
Enforcement
Arcadible doesn't review games before they're published. We review what's reported, and what we find ourselves. When something breaks these guidelines, depending on how serious it is and whether it's happened before, we may:
- ask the developer to fix it, such as a wrong audience label
- unlist or remove a game
- remove part of a profile
- suspend or close an account
We close an account at once for child abuse, malware, or serious threats to safety. Where we can, we tell the developer or player what we did and why, and they can reply to support@arcadible.com to dispute it.
