Arcadible FAQ
About Arcadible
What is Arcadible?
A store for games that you play in a browser or in the Arcadible desktop app, with nothing to install first. Developers publish their games on Arcadible, and you find and play them in the store. See Arcadible Help.
Does Arcadible cost anything?
No. Every game on Arcadible is free to play, and Arcadible doesn't currently sell games or anything in them.
Who makes the games?
Independent developers, who publish them on Arcadible themselves. Each store page links to its developer's page. See Games are made by their developers.
I make games. How do I publish one?
With the Arcadible CLI. See the developer docs.
Playing
Do I need an account to play?
No. Anyone can browse the store and play, though on arcadible.com Explore and Library ask you to log in. An account lets you like games and keep a library. See Your Account.
Can I play on my phone or tablet?
Yes, in its browser. There's no Arcadible app for phones or tablets. See On a phone or tablet.
Can I play offline?
No. Each play loads the game from Arcadible, so you need a connection.
Why did my progress reset?
Games save on your device. Another browser or device, the desktop app, a private window, or clearing your browser's data each start fresh, and some games also start fresh when they're updated. See Saves and Progress.
Can I move my progress to another device?
Not through Arcadible, which doesn't currently store saves in your account. Some games have their own accounts that sync progress. See Keep your progress.
Can I remove a game from my Played list?
No. You can't currently remove a game from Played. You can unlike a game to remove it from Liked. See Your Library.
What do Everyone and Mature mean on a store page?
They're the audience the developer chose for the game. Mature games may contain intense violence, blood and gore, sexual content, or strong language. See Audience.
Does Arcadible check games before they're published?
No. Developers publish games directly, and choose their audience and AI notices. Arcadible reviews games that are reported, and removes those that break the Community Guidelines.
