The Arcadible Desktop App
The Arcadible desktop app is the store in its own window, with each game in a window of its own. It plays the same games as arcadible.com, and keeps a game running at full speed when its window isn't in front.

Download it from arcadible.com/download, which marks your operating system.

The Windows and Linux apps are previews, still in development.
There's no Arcadible app for phones or tablets. Play in the phone's browser instead. See On a phone or tablet.
Log in
Select Log in in the app. The app keeps its own login, separate from your browser's, encrypted with your system's keychain. Log out in the account menu logs out the app only.
Game windows
Press Play, and the game opens in its own window: landscape games in a wide window, portrait games in a tall one.
- Resize the window as you like. The app remembers each game's size and position.
- Press Play again to bring an open game's window to the front.
Full screen

Press Escape to leave full screen. A game's own fullscreen button fills its window.
Closing and quitting
Closing every window doesn't quit the app. It keeps running in the menu bar on macOS, and in the system tray on Windows and Linux.
- Click the icon in the menu bar or tray to open the store. On Linux, clicking it opens a menu: choose Open Arcadible.
- Quit: right-click the icon (Control-click on macOS), then Quit Arcadible on macOS or Exit Arcadible on Windows. On Linux, click it, then Exit Arcadible. On macOS, ⌘Q also quits.
- Recently played games are in the icon's menu too, newest first: choose one to play it. See your system's page: macOS, Windows, Linux.
Updates
On macOS and Windows, the app updates itself. It checks for a new version every hour, and downloads it in the background. When it's ready, a notification says "Update Available": click it, or select Relaunch Arcadible to apply update… in the menu bar or tray, to restart into the new version.
The app doesn't update itself on Linux, when it's the portable .zip on Windows, or on macOS outside your Applications folder. Download and install the new version yourself.
The beta
Arcadible Beta gets new versions of the app and the store before everyone else, and changes more often. It's a separate app: choose Beta downloads at arcadible.com/download.
- It installs beside Arcadible, with its own login and saves.
- Links that open a game in the app from a website or the Arcadible CLI open Arcadible, not Arcadible Beta.
Help menu
On macOS, Help ▸ Arcadible Help opens this site, and Help ▸ Arcadible Developer the developer docs. On every system, the account menu's Help does too.
